Blue Smoke 06:14
It was the blue smoke from her cigarette that fell around her face like a veil no one wanted a bride's mistake It took all of her nerve just to repeat bartender please serve me a drink just one drink and you can keep the change In her tight skirt and her high heels that had seen better days she turned to survey the surrounding scene to find a soft escape Her courage came in fits too fast to think how to make that man buy her a drink just one drink and she would feel no pain Now it's two-thirty and all her fairy dust could not obliterate the way the mirror on the back bar revealed her fate She hasn't got the money for a cab she'll panhandle so she can fill her flask in light of things it's all she'll ask

I dreamt of pretty things they are gone from me once. I. lived. in a golden light Trouble is real to me wherever you are I. will. be. good for you No map of the planets can show me your star, show me your star
3.
it was a wretched season and our horse came in dead last and the wind it blew disaster and the flames ran hard and fast and she watched the flag unfurl as it whipped around her face and she gave the middle finger as the monster left his grave I oughta know boys play with explosives and pour ink into the lake and the children of the village burn their witches at the stake and she shook the tree of good and evil just to watch it shake and the fruit that spilled into the orchard stained her pretty face I oughta know here comes Pandora with her bracelet strung with heads dropping bread crumbs marching through the promised land

uh-oh 04:04
Who is that girl you see her running down the alley She's all dressed in white must be an escapee Oh but she's beautiful she's just like a dream and you're so hungry for some honey and cream Oh, she's a mystery you want to get into her fantasy so you run around the corner just to see what you can see and there she is saying don't you follow me She's got a smile like a knife in her teeth and you've got a pressure problem with your sweaty hands I got my business got no time for you I'm going to a wedding getting married to myself I am a mystery you better check it with your fantasy don't you try to put nothing on me cause if you do I'm gonna make you very sorry you did http://www.penelope.net/uh-oh.html
